Fall Festival at South Regional Library
ome celebrate the fall season and your love of reading at South Regional Library’s Fall Festival! The festival will feature a moonwalk, kettle corn, a scarecrow photo-op, decorate your own mini pumpkin, a costume parade and contest, and much more! October 30th 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM The Costume Contest will begin at 11:30 AM. Prizes will be given out for the Scariest, Most Unique, and Funniest Costumes! This is a free event.

Our book club is unique; we celebrate both books and food! Each book has a recipe (which we sample) related to the story itself, the region, or the time period of the book. PLEASE JOIN US! - Come to the Library and sign-up, and check out a copy of the book.THE BLACK DAHLIA - by James Ellroy: A young woman's mutilated body is found in a Los Angeles vacant lot. The story is seen through the eyes of Bucky Bleichert, ex-prize fighter and something of a boy wonder on the police force. Ellroy's powerful rendering of the long-reaching effects of murder gives the case new meaning.
