Japanese Culture Celebration
Wednesday, October 5, 2016, 6:30 PM - 7:30:00 PM
Join us for a celebration of Japanese culture.  The Woodlands High School Soran Dance troupe will perform Japanese dances.  Members of The Woodlands High School Japanese Club will share their experiences about traveling to Japan.  Attendees can learn how to do origami, have their name written in Japanese with brush paint, and play Fukuwarai, a popular Japanese game.  Light refreshments will be provided.  We hope to see you there!

Dr Grubb will present a overview of the WWII experience for "enemy aliens" like the Germans and Japanese Americans mentioned in the book.
